Oren Royal Oaks Venture v. Stanman
Successfully argued before the California Supreme Court for the application of a statutory privilege to abuse of process claims for statements made during settlement negotiations by attorneys. (42 Cal.3d 1157)
Philip Emrich v. Touche Ross & Co.
Decertified class and obtained summary judgment in favor of accounting firm in securities fraud class action suit arising out of Sambo's Restaurants, Inc. security offering.
Richard Soong v. Quantum, Inc.
Represented inventor in action against Taiwanese manufacturer involving
claims under the Lanham Act, as well as patent, trade dress and trade
