   Experience/Personal 
        Ed Moore has focused his practice on civil litigation since 1974.  Among other clients, Ed has represented title companies, real estate brokers, buyers and sellers of real property, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and property owners in general business disputes. Ed has handled litigation involving construction defects, breach of contract, mechanics lien actions, specific performance actions, claims for real estate commissions on behalf of real estate brokers, failure to disclose real property cases, defense of title companies and other general business and real property disputes.

        Ed began his career in 1974 as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Santa Barbara.  In 1978, he joined the firm of Westwick & Collison, becoming a partner in 1980.  After that firm disbanded in 1981, he was a partner in the firm of Egenolf & Moore until 1993.  Thereafter, he practiced with the firm of Schramm & Raddue until 1996, at which time he joined Joe Howell and Brian Gough in forming the firm of Howell Moore & Gough LLP.

            Ed and his wife Christie have lived in Santa Barbara since 1974 and raised two children, Amanda and Meghan, both of whom are teachers.  Christie is a retired teacher.   Ed's outside activities include bike riding, wind surfing, snow boarding and tennis.
